I like Bono

A pastor I had as a child in the Lutheran Church moved to Chicago last year sometime. Tom Lyberg, or Pastor Tom as we called him. He is a good guy, really challenged by the Gospel these days. He is drenching himself in popular culture- a postmodern mentality, music especially seems to be his focus. After pastoring in my hometown for around 6 years- mind you i am from a very small religious town- he moved to Chicago to try and develop a way to share the Gospel that is meaningful to folks in the postmodern generation.

I am interested in hearing what anyone would think about this. I think it's pretty cool- and brave to step out of molds. Pretty sure that's what Jesus did.
