I went to Mexico City for a few hours this summer. Fresia, Temock, and I ran from the bus station to another station in the North of Mexico d.f. There are so may people there. The city is set in a valley, with mountains surrounding. It has a good feel.
We tried to get on the subway- which is way insane. Young kids are crazy on the trains. Getting on a the subway trains can be as bad a deciding when to jump from a moving amtrak train in the states. In our rendition of getting on the train, Temock was left behind. Fresia and I, stunned, watched as the train pulled away without him. It was so cute- we waited until he caught the next train and we were reunited. One could imagine the timidity Fresia and Temock had while attempting to jump another train in the city. Everyone hold hands.
Maybe I can stop by Mexico d.f. this summer. Have to wait and see if I have vacation time and what other events may happen this summer. Buying a house being among the events.
Anyways...A dream city. Millions of people...fast pace...everyone Speaking a cool sounding espanol.
