houses

For the past two years whenever I sit at my desk, I look at two abandoned row homes across the street. Something about them always intrigues me. A sense of hope usually overwhelms the look of boarded up windows and door. The door has been painted over, but one can still see it says best regards to "mom."

I guess that is how I still have hope. Some one's mom lived there in '92 or whenever it was. Another family will grow up there sometime in the future. At least I hope, if PHA does not tear them down.
The right building is slightly higher than the left. Maybe one sunk with passing time.

I am gaining speed with buying a house. A much bigger responsibility than I conceptualized a year ago, when i decided to buy. I am excited to go through with it though. As I get a little older, it seems that big decisions are sometimes made by just going forward with decisions without a nice peaceful feeling every time. I am going on the fact that I know God really wants me to buy a house. He seems to have confirmed it, and I want to try to buy one. It is empowering to be informed about all the procedures and learn from people who have already bought.

Anyways, I really need to sleep.
