Sweet Summers

Wasn't it fun, the last day of high school, when everybody ran through the halls singing "School's Out!"? There was a sense of freedom in people. No tests. no more structure. no bed time and lots of hanging out with friends.

Hopefully those summer memories will carry me through this first summer working full time. Nonetheless, I don't think it will be too much of a problem with multiple exciting things happening!

First off, My brother is getting married! Very exciting event, Ryan and Brittany after dating 3 years + are getting married 8/11! They are probably two of the coolest people I know. Definitely the coolest 18 and 19 year olds I know. Ever since I met Brit at youth group in high school I knew God really had a hold of her heart. And of course, my brother is the bestest brother ever, I can't ever say enough about him.


Second, I am hopefully buying a house this summer!!! Marking my territory in this city (kind of like a dog??) in Kensington. It has been cool to hear stories of what God's doing over there. So cool, that I thought I'd join the coolness. Women being discipled, kids getting plugged into churches and off the streets, folks coming in from other places to help out, churches inviting people to worship together, etc etc.


Third...hmm...well I am sure there will be a third thing. I'll let you know.

Anyways, Have a sweet summer! Let's Barbecue or something. peace
