It is getting past my bedtime, but I felt inspired to update on my house.

On Monday I started to do some actual work on the house. Hube began electrical work, putting in some new outlets and such. It is a lot of work to figure out where to run all the wires.

I decided to tear up some carpet, an inspiration from Becca Zinn. I am glad I did it, and just to one room to start. There is some cool wood underneath, and some paint spots/painted areas as well. I didn't take a picture, I will once I get all the staples up.
I am thinking about going for the 'distressed' look. Maybe sand it down, but not worry about every speck of paint being gone. Then poly it to save the wood.

That is my project now, I will be there on Saturday if any once wants to help! Staples rock, if you have experience you know. If you are in need of therapy or anger management, this is your day to help. (Well, maybe not anger management, but it is therapeutic taking them out, one by one.)
