On a more personal note...

Life has been going fairly well recently.
Hubie and I were able to hang out with Drew and Leah, it had been almost a year since I had seen Leah and even longer for Drew. It was refreshing to reconnect with the two of them! Drew made an amazing chicken dinner, I just can't say enough about the experience:)

There have been other really fun times to spend reconnecting and connecting more with good friends.

I just learned that my family is coming to my new house for Thanksgiving! I really can't believe that they are driving all the way out here, it really means a lot. We are planning the food and where they will stay! It sounds like I won't even have to make a turkey...

Work and home life has been much more manageable in the past 2 weeks. God has really helped me learn to separate the two a little more- it feels so much healthier for me.

And can I say I have amazing roommates??!!! They really are awesome. We have gotten along well, this weekend our previous roommate Erin came to stay with us. Thursday I came home, Ruth and Bethany had cleaned the house, finished painting a wall, did some washing, and changed our furniture around better. It was awesome to say the least.

Lastly, but definitely not least, I had my first house guests over since my kitchen is done! Sam, Mary and Mitch trekked the "El" last night to spend time in my hood. Mitch entertained us with his rubber ducky song and courageous duck noise making "thingy."
