He washed it white as snow

Today is Easter Sunday, and I have been blown away by singing and hearing about Jesus cleansing me from all my sins. It is truly amazing! I especially have been moved by the verse in the song "Worthy is the Lamb:"

High and lifted up
Jesus Son of God
Darling of Heaven crucified
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb

And the chorus from "Jesus Paid it All:"

Jesus paid it all, All to Him I owe; Sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

It has been neat to meditate on Jesus' journey in dieing on the cross and then rising from the dead. I have found extremely meaningful, as I often lose sight of this central event.
