Today, all things are new

Today has been a day of endings, and celebration. I had the last day at the homeless shelter I worked at. It has been great to see the progress the guys made. I have enjoyed building relationships with some of the guys. Two years ago no one could have told me that I would know homeless people. On Friday we are having a bbq for all of us, and celebrate the time we spent together.

Later, I talked with my field liason about next year's placement. I am looking at disability work. I am excited, and having feelings of unknowness. The place i have to call first has a really good reputation for learning and for the consumers.

Tonight is the last Crosswalk for the year, I am excited to be a part of that ending. It has been a good place to meet good friends.
This summer I hope to get involved with Vineyard more, and also in the Fall. Our college event planning is going great! I really enjoy the people involved. We have fun in our meetings.

I applied to several jobs for the summer, i will wait to see what God has. I have a job to make some money if I need to stay there. I am really hoping for some more money...

Summer brings to mind painting, freedom, bike riding, exploring, and good cook outs.

Going home in two weeks...It will be nice to see family.
