no Class this morning!

This morning I got up for my 8:40 and it was canceled! How exciting, although it was b/c of family emergency which is not good.
Hopefully things are ok with prof mbj.

I got quite a bit done for class and I got to take a shower:) I have been reading Romans through, just trying to see the over all-ness of the passage.

So far it has been really good, and I see how kind God is, even though he is a judging God.

I have class in 10 minutes, my human service orgs class. Our assignment today was thougth provoking. I had to give examples of power in the agency. Ways to give clients more power and identify resources that give people more power. Also, legitimate power that SWers hold in an agency.

with Jesus as an example, power is good if you use it the right way. He was baptized as he wants his followers to be. I think he was displaying that he would never ask us to do something he wouldn't do himself. He did the baptism, and God said he was pleased with him before he ever began his ministry. It is just the point that Jesus and God are about faith. Speaking Jesus is definately a servent with his power (which can only result from faith)...it talks about that in the beginning of Romans:) faith leads to obedience

time for class
