What up?

What up my friends, a special shout out to Sarah and McKenzie, boos back home.
So today I got to sleep in an extra hour which totally rocked. Juliana was kind enough to call me cute and "tiny val" several times.

The mickey mouse in our house finally past away fairly violently yesterday. He sprawled out on our floor in the early afternoon. Juliana and Bethany tried to call Mitch to take care of the body, however he remained to be unfound. Ruth eventually came home and scooped the corpse with a broom and double bagged him for freshness.

So yesterday i learned how to get a job, although I am not convinced that I want one yet! I got home and started dreaming, which always gets me into trouble. Big goals with little steps...for some reason I don't want to pray about these dreams cause God probably will make them happen! I refuse to blindedly get a job without God's lead, because he has a purpose for my life. Now I know how to...i got the tools--just need to plug into the power behind them.

I have been praying for my roommates and other people lately, and really taking time to listen on their behalf. It is cool and I enjoy spending time like that with God. He placed so much compassion in me and praying/listening like that helps me to see what his compassion looks like.

I started knitting again!!! YES!!! I love it so much. I found out that I get 10% off art/knitting supplies at Pearl Crafts. Gotta dig that.

I have class in a few minutes and I'll pry knit during it, especially since I haven't read the chapter for the class yet. bittersweet.

Can't wait for my 7-midnight shift tonight- Ming totally rocks. He plays ping pong like Michael Jordan played b-bal.
