the day off

Yesterday I got the rest of the paint for my living room and dining room! I am kind of in the mood to paint today. Color does so much for the place.

Lately, life has gotten much more in the swing of things. Friends who were home for the summer are back. It has been fun to hang out again.

Friday we went to Old City and hung out. Greta sold her jewelry and collages on the sidewalk. I met a few new people and walked with them. We went in a couple art galleries down 2nd St. My favorite gallery had paintings made from magazines- like strips and other pieces cut out. The scenes were put together so ingeniously. We ended our night at N. 3rd Bar, which always comes through with awesome wings.

It has been really refreshing to meet some new folks and be in a few of my favorite spots.

p.s. going for a bike ride this morning, first bike ride in my new hood.
