Dad's Here!

This is a short week for me, today is kind of like Friday:) My Dad came in on Saturday night, took the road from Archbold to Philly in 9 hrs. We are working on remodeling my kitchen, the time has come to have counter space!

We demo-ed on Sunday, yesterday I worked my job and Dad tiled the floor. He is doing a really great job! I picked out some fairly small tile, so it is taking a bit longer than expected. He is planning on finishing up today. I am very excited, we have the lay out all figured out, tonight we are going to buy cabinets and a window possibly.

Hube is coming over to help us tomorrow until Friday, which is really nice. We have fun working together. My dad is such a hard worker, he just never stops.

Last night Dad and I went to the Aramingo Diner, classic to this part of the city. I had an awesome chicken pot pie that will last me at least 3 meals. Dad thought it reminded him of old Bob's Dairy Barn in Edgerton, where he used to go after school. I agree, I miss seeing my grandma working at Bob's.

I am off to work!
